The turbo side of a truck engine out on the workshop floor

Turbo repairs

Turbo repair and reconditioning for diesel engines, for trade customers and owners of trucks, vans, tractors and plant.

Turbos

Lost boost is lost work

A failing turbo usually tells you: a whine or whistle, blue or black smoke, oil where it should not be, and a machine that will not pull the way it did.

A turbo rarely fails on its own. We look at why it failed, such as oil supply or blocked filters, so the new or reconditioned turbo does not go the same way.

What's covered

  • Turbo repair
  • Turbo reconditioning
  • Checks on why the turbo failed
  • Fitting to trucks, vans, tractors and plant
  • Trade enquiries welcome

Questions

Before you ring

  • Often, yes. Whether it is worth it depends on the damage, and you will be told which before any work is done.

  • Yes. Garages and fleet workshops can send turbos in for repair or reconditioning.

  • The machine, the make, the engine number if you have it, where the machine is, and what went wrong. The quote form asks for exactly that, so the first call is about your engine.
